If you access our Services through third parties (e.g., Facebook or Google), or if you share content from our Services to a third-party social media service, the third-party service will send us certain information about you if the third-party service and your account settings allow such sharing. The information we receive will depend on the policies and your account settings with the third-party service.
Do Not Track
Do Not Track ("DNT") is an optional browser setting that allows you to express your preferences regarding tracking by advertisers and other third parties. The Services may not currently respond to all Do Not Track ("DNT") or similar signals, as we are awaiting consensus from the Internet policy and legal community on the meaning of DNT and the best way to respond to these signals.

We may also use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing, or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. How We Share Information
Lumoscope does not sell your Personal Information to third parties, nor do we disclose Personal Information to third parties for targeted or cross-context behavioral marketing purposes.
We may share Anonymous Information with third parties as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy and to improve our Services and for other commercial purposes.
We take your privacy seriously, and may disclose Personal Information only as follows:
- •To business partners, service providers, and affiliates. We share your Personal Information with our business partners, service providers, affiliates, and subcontractors as required to offer you our Services. We use these entities to help us to:
- -Run, operate, and maintain our Services through third-party platforms and software tools (including Convex for database and backend services, Clerk for authentication, and OpenAI for AI-powered interpretations);
- -Perform content moderation and crash analytics;
- -Run email messaging campaigns;
- -Provide measurements services;
- -Administer live events, sweepstakes, and promotions, including registering attendees, managing check-in and attendance, verifying eligibility and prize fulfilment;
- -Provide payment attribution; and,
- -Provide technical and customer support.
- •To customer support employees. Authorized customer support employees may access to your Personal Information as needed to resolve issues you encounter on our Services and help you use our Services.
- •We may be required to disclose your data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet law enforcement requirements. Some external service providers may also collect information directly from you (for example, a payment processor may request your billing and financial information) in accordance with their own privacy policy. These external service providers do not share your financial information, like credit card number, with us, but may share limited information with us related to your purchase, like your zip code.
Protecting Children's Privacy
Children Online Protection
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of sixteen (16). Erasure Law
In accordance with UK law, minors under the age of eighteen (18) residing in the UK may remove, or request and obtain the removal of, content and information that they share on the Websites or App. To remove or to request and obtain the removal of such content and information, the user must email contact@lumoscope.app. Users should be aware that removing content and information posted by a minor does not ensure complete or comprehensive erasure of content or information posted on our Services.
Under certain circumstances, Lumoscope may not have to comply with the above removal requirements. Lumoscope also reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to anonymize the posted content or information or to make such content or information invisible to other users and the public, instead of removing or deleting the content or information.

When you use our Services, you may be directed to other websites and applications that are beyond our control. We may also allow third-party websites or applications to link to the Services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third parties or the content of linked websites and applications, but we do encourage you to read the applicable privacy policies and terms and conditions of such parties, websites, and applications. This Privacy Policy only applies to the Services.
Social Media Features
Login
You can log in to our Services using third-party authentication services such as Google or Facebook. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain Personal Information with us, such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign-up form.
Information You Share Socially
Keep in mind that the users who view any content you share (e.g. your profile or your messages) can always save that content or copy it outside the App. So, the same common sense that applies to the internet at large applies to Lumoscope as well: Don't share or make public any content that you wouldn't want someone else to save or share.
How We Secure, Store, and Retain Information
Security
We have implemented a variety of technical and organizational precautions to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of your Personal Information from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or unauthorized access. However, no website, application, or transmission can guarantee security. Thus, while, we have established and maintain what we believe to be appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of Personal Information obtained through our Services, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information transmitted to us.
Storage
The Personal Information that you provide to us is generally stored on servers maintained by our service providers, including Convex. These servers may be located in the United Kingdom, United States, or other jurisdictions. If you are located outside the UK, you should be aware that once your Personal Information is submitted through our Services, it may be transferred to servers in the UK or other jurisdictions. When transferring data outside the UK/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK GDPR.
Retention
We will retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When the information is no longer necessary for these purposes, we delete it or keep it in a form that does not identify you.
